These classes are perfect for those who want a deeper dive into techniques  and more time to work than our weekend workshops.

STAINED GLASS INTRO

Tuesdays 10 am -12:30

First Term starts 15th Sept

Second Term starts 3rd Nov

Learn the basis of stained glass from the very beginning!

We'll cover all the basic processes needed, from cutting glass to the final touches, both with lead and copper foil.

FUSING

INTERMEDIATE

Tuesdays 6 pm -8:30

First Term starts 15th Sept

Second Term starts 3rd Nov

Take your fusing to the next level in this class.  We will refine and develop techniques taught in the Intro Fusing class, and introduce new processes such as shallow relief and slumping.

For those who have attended our Stained Glass Intro course or who already have basic stained glass skills and now want to further develop your skills and technique with expert guidance.  This is the class for you!

MIXED GLASS TECHNIQUES

Thursdays 9:30 am -12:30

First Term starts 17th Sept

Second Term starts 5th Nov

In this class we will explore combining techniques to create more advanced works.  We will draw on and combine techniques in stained glass, fusing and painting to create works of complexity and beauty.

INTRO FUSING

Tuesdays 2 pm - 4:30

First Term starts 15th Sept

Second Term starts 3rd Nov

Use the heat of the kiln to join pieces of glass together - the possibilities are endless!  This course will introduce you to a range of basic techniques for fusing glass, including cutting, assembing, the use of specialty glasses - including frits and powders and confetti - inclusions, and basic kiln firing schedules.
