When we started this studio project a year ago we expected a year of surprises. Little did we know.....
Still, in a year of pandemic and lockdown, we: * welcomed over *100* students through our doors (despite reduced class sizes and re-configuing the space to allow for 2 meter distancing), * worked with dozens of clients from all over the city on repairs and new commissions (see map!), * joined with 9 other Edinburgh-based designer/makers to form Craft-ED (https://craft-edinburgh.co.uk/) to support each other in these times and provide a resource for people looking to take a classes with us in our own studios, * welcomed studio members to rent bench space and equipment, and *generally kept flowing with the tide.
We are so grateful to everyone who has helped, signed up for a class, commissioned us, and supported us. What a first year of business. Here's to many more!
