During this weekend workshop, participants will be introduced to the fundamental techniques of glass fusing and the creation of leaded panels.

Designed specifically for beginners, the workshop will focus on simple designs featuring straight lines, allowing learners to concentrate on mastering the step-by-step process of glassmaking.

For those with no prior experience, pre-cut glass shapes will be provided to facilitate learning.

This course offers a comprehensive overview of the entire process involved in crafting traditional stained glass pieces that incorporate fused elements.

On the first day, attendees will learn the basics of cutting glass and be introduced to the art of glass fusing. Additionally, participants will cut glass pieces to form the borders of their leaded panels. By the end of this session, all fused samples will be prepared for firing.

The second day will involve preparing any necessary pre-fused pieces, followed by instruction on leading panels. Participants will also learn essential techniques, including soldering, cementing, and polishing their leaded panels.
